The sextet Gentlemen Hall is proving to be one of the most infectious dance acts to come out of Boston, one of the birth cities for electro-pop. Years before the band released their debut EP, When We All Disappear (2011), they were garnered with an MTV VMA for "Best Breakout Boston Artist" (2009), and Boston Phoenix's "Best New Local Act" (2010). The band made history for independent acts when they performed at the 2011 Billboard Awards in Las Vegas, NV.
The band is comprised of Cobi Mike (vocals/guitar), Gavin Merlot (vocals/guitar), Seth Hachen (flute), Bradford Alderman (analog keyboards), Ro Richard (bass guitar), and Philip Boucher (drums). These six are constantly writing and recording new material, collaborating with artists from across the country to continue creating innovative music. Gentlemen Hall has established their live performance as a high energy dance experience for fans. Their addicting synthesizers and huge hooks leave crowds singing these anthemic songs night after night.
The band is notoriously open with their music, offering their production stems to other artists wanting to work on remixes and mixtapes, whether they be amateurs or professionals.
Gentlemen Hall is currently touring North America through 2012. Their album is available on a "name your price" basis via www.gentlemenhall.com
