Ryan Jaso, widely known throughout the industry simply as “Jaso”, grew up in Huntington Beach, CA where he started his career as a promoter right out of high school. After stepping out of the scene to run the marketing for a clothing line (Cardboard Robot) his love for the nightlife brought him back in 2006 when he teamed up with Chris White to form Whitelite Productions and throw electronic music events. Together they came up with the idea for “Control” which is now one of LA’s most reputable parties revolving around electronic music and happens every Friday night at Avalon in Hollywood. Celebrating its 3-year anniversary, Control prides itself on supporting emerging talent and has been the launching grounds for many artists’ careers.

Wanting to get more involved in the scene, Jaso started an artist management company in 2008 and signed his partner Chris (Mr. White) as his first act. “Technique Management” now represents a roster of 5 artists (Mr. White, PeaceTreaty, Cold Blank, LAZRtag and Blake Miller) with 2 other managers on the team, Jaso has big plans to continue growing the company along with his other businesses. Whitelite Productions is currently expanding it’s reach to Scottsdale and Orange County markets where it will bring its developed brand of high-energy shows to new audiences. In early 2011 missing the clothing business, he decided to dive back in by opening a small retail clothing boutique in Costa Mesa, California called Lobby. (www.lobbystoreonline.com) In the not-so-distant future, Jaso plans to open up a venue of his own where his overflow of creative ideas can be fully explored.
