Most people dream, some attempt to pursue their dreams, but few people actually get to live them. Greg Gaudreau, better known as Dj Wreckineyez, is fortunately one of those few. Born and raised in the small town of Ludlow MA, this former high school teacher was determined to turn his late high school/college djing hobby into his dream job, and that’s exactly what he’s done.

Ever since touching his 1st set of turntables in 1999, Wreckineyez has developed a strong passion for music and the art of djing. He’s spent countless hours gaining knowledge of all genres of music, and sculpting his craft as an amazingly talented dj with DMC caliber turntablist skills. His intricate scratching and wowing turntable trickery, combined with the way he so smoothly and flawlessly blends one record to the other, puts him in a skill class with some of the world’s best djs. What separates him from other dj’s is his versatility, creativity, and ability to read and rock any type of crowd. Whether he’s playing Hip Hop, Top 40, House/Electro, Disco or Rock, Wreckineyez’s open format style of djing keeps any dance floor packed to an extreme level of energy, and any crowd fully entertained. His sets are a perfect balance of innovative/technical djing skill and crowd rockin’.

Whether he’s djing at top level nightclubs around the globe (from Lavo in Vegas and BLVD3 in Hollywood, to The 1OAK in NYC and Movida in London), or performing at world renowned venues, in front of crowds of up to 20,000+ (Madison Square Garden, Lollapalooza, and the largest music festivals throughout Europe), Wreckineyez always leaves the crowd in awe when he touches the turntables. As the official dj for Asher Roth, he has toured all over the US and Europe, sharing stages/opening up for some of the biggest names in the music industry (Jay Z, Blink 182, Akon, Lil Wayne, Weezer, Oasis, Black Eyed Peas, Ludacris, T Pain, N.E.R.D., Lupe Fiasco and the list goes on) On top of rockin’ clubs and live shows, Wreck has also managed to develop a worldwide fan base through his many mixtapes and guest djing spots on some of the biggest radio stations in the world (Sirius Satellite Radio’s Hip Hop Nation, London’s BBC 1Extra, etc). Along with being featured in videos, with millions of views on the internet, Wreckineyez has also performed numerous times on national and international television with Asher Roth (Late Night with Jimmy Fallon alongside The Roots, The Jimmy Kimmel Show, Last Call with Carson Daly, Spike TV Guys Choice Awards, and the Jools Holland Show in London, etc). “My first time performing on television was actually one of the greatest moments in my life”, says Wreckineyez. “That night, at the MTV Woodie Awards, I not only took part in opening up the show, while performing with Asher, but also got to dj later on stage for a hip hop legend, Q Tip from A Tribe Called Quest! If getting to perform on television with some of my favorite artists of all time, like Q Tip and The Roots, isn’t a sign on me living my dream, than I don’t know what is… I’ve truly been blessed”

After seriously starting his dj career over 3 years ago in Atlanta, GA, and determined to become more successful, Wreckineyez recently relocated to Los Angeles, CA. Through his hard work, passion, and dedication, he is swiftly developing a name for himself as a “go to” dj in the industry. He continues to dj some of the most prominent clubs and celebrity filled events around globe, making his name/brand bigger each and every day. Wreckineyez is quickly becoming recognized (no pun intended) as a well rounded dj who can impressively and effortlessly do it all (live shows/tv performances, clubs, mixtapes, radio, etc.) His goal is to become “Wreckineyez’d” and respected as one of the top dj’s in the game.
