Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cable broke over 7 times I’ve been using the tracks headphones for years and they’re fantastic without a doubt. Sound quality is really good. The big issue however is that the cable breaks on me after a year or less of use and I’ve been returning the headphones to the same store I bought them from year after year until they stopped carrying them. I was left to message the company explaining my situation and they were kind enough to send me 2 free cable replacements about 6 months or more ago. Unfortunately for me, today one of the 2 replacement cables just broke. It’s the left split wire right where the jack is to go into the speaker. I will be looking into investing in a quality cable elsewhere to avoid this situation from happening again because it’s just exhausting. I really do love these headphones and just wish sol republic could figure this issue out as I’ve seen plenty of other complaints about the same issue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful with intentional flaws. This product is designed to break, I have purchased over 7 of these cables all of which have broken. Instead, I would recommend any other supplier of these cables (3.5mm to 22.5mm male to male) which can be found on Amazon.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke in less than one week Bought these just under a month ago and was disappointed to see that the connection to the left-side headset broke in less than a week. The flaw appears to be an internal break in the headphone cable where it meets the 2.5mm connector (on the revised design with the slimline volume control) - this happened in less than a week, disappointing as the cable originally supplied with the headphones (Tracks HD) lasted for several years. Checked aftermarket options however these do not seem to work as the headphones are designed with the volume control/mic in mind.

why dont you build more resilient headphone cables . The ground wire in mine has broken after no more than a few days of use

A while back i tried to order a new cable for my headphones but was told that the item was on back order. I enrolled in your e mail notification system to be notified when this item was back in stock. Today i was sent an email that stated it was back.nope

Just got the email stateing the cords are back in stock to be ordered. But it says Apple devices, is it still compatible with regular headphone jack plug ins? I'd like to purchase but I don't own an apple device, favorite headphones by far.
