Rated 1 out of 5 by from Such a waste I bought these from HMV just after Christmas, and for the first week, i was SOOOO pleased with this product. Quality was great, everything was perfect. However, within the first month of use, these headphones have continued to disappoint me. It started with issues pairing the two together. I had looked at multiple online blogs, and each would say the same thing, however my headphones still failed to pair to each other. Now, i'm experiencing a delay. Not between the Earbuds and my Phone, but between the two earbuds themselves. One of them starts to fall behind and then cuts off completely. And when i do get them to work, They will randomly turn off within five minutes, without me even having removed them from my ear, let alone touched them. Utter disappointment for my First pair of True Wireless headphones!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pairing is horrible I bought these headphones about a year ago. Pairing continues to be an issue, sometimes it works, sometimes it takes up to 6 attempts of powering off/on & putting back into into the charging unit. Sound quality is good, Jaybird is better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy - pairing sucks Bought them on a blackfriday sale, was excited, worked well for a few months, now always falls back to mono mode, i fix it and it works for a bit to then fails. don't waste your money if you want a pair of headphones. expensive price when only one works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Absolute Best Yip! I'm on my second pair, lost the first pair at Paramount Theater in Denver for STS9, they took my headphones to lost & found at the Pepsi Center, after two weeks they say we "donate" them. I had to order another pair, in the mean time I tried AirPods, Bose, jaybird, none of them stack up to the best, Amps Air 2.0

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too heavy for small ears Too heavy for small ears even trying all of the tips and they still fall out sitting still. Otherwise just average sound. No connection problems though. I would recommend for big eared people though. Good price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I did not expect this i did not expect this from a small earpiece, great sound and bass. The pair could be better between the to earpieces.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good sound quaity Horrible Bluetooth connectivity. Once I got them to finally pair to eachother the right earbud was not playing music no matter what. Sound quality is good but the right earbud killed it

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Eh...? I bought these a while ago, not sure when, but it's been at least a year. I'm on my first replacement, and, after months of them being decent, they are still going strong. So, the sound quality is avarage, but dont expect to listen to soft music or a video, as a constant static noise will be heard when they are in use. They are also really loud, and it can be a bit annoying to use them in a class or office and not be able to turn them down enough, but it's good at the gym and louder environments, so take your pick. The right bud likes to cut out sometimes, for no reason, but I put it back in the case and re-pair it and it works fine. The battery life is amazing, and a lot better than I thought it would be. The case itself is flimsy, so dont drop it. At all. The top part that opens feels like its constantly about to come off, and I'm honestly surprised it hasn't yet. The charging you get from the case is not as well as a regular battery, so I wouldn't recommend using it as so. They fit in my ear perfectly, and very rarely do I have to push it back in. I've made two or three calls with it, and the quality of the call, for both me and the individual i was talking to, was trash. But honestly, what did you expect? The thing is crammed into your ear. It would be nice if you could skip songs on the earbud itself, but you cant, which sucks. The case wont fit comfortably in your pocket, trust me. I wear big pants, and they fit in them, but it's so wide its uncomfortable to keep the case in there. Overall, if I could stop myself from buying these, I probably would have. Not the best headphones i've ever had before.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from constant frustration While cheaper than a trip to vegas.. pairing these things will definately give you your gambling fix. I've tried all steps in all of SOL REPUBLIC's guides - quick start guide, the full manual, their 'pairing like a pro' website, and you never know what functionality you're going to get when you pop them out of the case (yes, even when you pay super-special close attention to remove them both at the same microsecond). Stereo? maybe, or maybe all you get to hear today is mono. Oh, and even if you can tolerate having to YELL to be heard if you are using them as a hands free phone headset - don't even think of letting anything near your ears where the multifunction buttons live, or you're probably going to hang up on whatever that important call you used to be on was. Tired of hanging up on people or is your left ear (and only your left ear) getting tired of mono miley cyrus? maybe they'll work better as wireless earphones for your laptop / computer? yeah nah. that probably won't work either.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sound quality excellent fit Had mine over 1 year Pros: Sound quality is exceptional. They lock in my ears and stay put even when running. Cons: Not a lot of functionality (song skip and volume control not available) Battery charging case now needs to be charged almost daily. Pairing can be a problem

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible I bought them Sep. 5th and I pretty much waited a week for these “bad boys” to come in oh sorry let me take that back “sorry boys” I’m actually really disappointed I can’t believe it I mean everything was faulty the charger seemed to not be charging my right ear bud (I finnaly got it to charge) once both earbuds were fully charge I started to pair not a chance they paired I put them on my ear and played music my Right earphone stopped sound completely it’s like it gave up on life my left earphone it felt like it was fighting it kept cutting and producing sound at some point they completely stop making sound but they were still paired to my IPhone 7 Plus I paused the music and it paused it *but no sound take in mind* I’m trully dissatisfied with this product I love Sol I bought some Bluetooth/Wired headphones that lasted me 5 YEARS which is amazing considering I used them daily with some minor drops they sadly stopped working (the bluethooth at least) so I decided to not interest myself in Beats or Bose but go ahead and buy from Sol again.... I want to give these things a second chance but as of now my rating will stay

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! Been a huge fan of sol republic products for years. These in particular are not my absolute fav but the sound quality is there. They stay on my ear and last very long and can still be connected even if I leave my device in my 3rd floor room and I walk all the way to the basement. Love these ear buds!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Probably the most crisp cleanest sound I have to say I heard through a friend about these wireless earbuds so I decided to purchase a pair, I must say for the amount they charged and the sound quality, perfect! These headphones are mint. They fit in the ear one very specific way for people that say that they fall out. There are various sizes earbuds with the product and once they are correctly placed into your ear they sound phenomenal. I don't think there is a better earbud out there for the price with such crisp clean sound, base is perfect not overwhelming and the treble and midridge is on point. These are perfect earbud if you want to drown out outside noises from around you all while listening to crisp clean sounding music. I'll be honest I'd like to get another pair of these somehow. These would make a fantastic Christmas present.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection The complete package. Literally have nothing bad to say about the earphones, although a more thorough instruction might be helpful since it took a few attempts to understand how to start them in order to sync everytime.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My favorite headphones. By far my favorite headphones I've had. I've gone through so many wired headphones that would go back because of the cord.Switched to the Sol Republic Track Air. Only issue I had with them were the bulky feel off the band and ear pieces during my workouts. Saw these and immediately had to get them. The look like they would be heavy and fit in my ear perfectly. Rarely do they ever fall out of my ears during workouts. Sound quality is amazing and they have good range away from my phone. I can walk across almost the whole gym without losing connection. Only issue is occasional pairing issues. Usually can be fixed by putting them both on the charger or double clicking them at the same time to get them to pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing These headphones are so loud! They have great bass and they’re almost completely noise cancelling. They’re quite possibly some of the best headphones I’ve had.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as good as AirPods I bought these the same time as my Apple AirPods but the battery and sounds quality isn’t as good. Also the sol republic ones don’t stay in my ears well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No USB C I had the pleasure of trying these out for a weekend and everything about them is top notch. I especially like how the case doubles as a power bank but the lack of USB-C and the use of Micro-USB is just a deal breaker for me. All my devices are USB-C and I had to carry around two extra cables (Type C To Big USB And Micro USB To Big USB) whereas before all I needed was a single Type C To Type C cable. Really wish these used Type C. Waiting on the next version, hopefully it's just as great *WITH USB-C*

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not great I haven't been so disappointed with a tech purchase in a long time. They are so frustrating to use from a connection standpoint, requiring multiple restart and re-pairings to work on a daily basis. Even if you pause and take them out for 5 minutes, half the time when you go to use them again they've inexplicably un-paired and I need to restart them/turn my phone bluetooth on and off to reconnect. I would say on average 1 out of 2 times I have an issue with getting them properly synced and connected. Secondarily, they often randomly cut out and slowly fade back in when listening to music. Not sure why/what's going on here but it's really annoying. As I'm currently using them every 3rd word of the song I'm listening to is cutting out... Pros: - Sound quality is pretty good (when working) - Good design - look good in-ear - Are truly wireless Cons: - Constant connection issues - Random sound interruption - Battery length isn't amazing Overall I suggest an alternate that works better from a connectivity/bluetooth standpoint unless you want to spend 5-10 mins fiddling with these every time you want to connect/change from listening from your phone to your laptop.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from don't use it you go to a crowded gym have owned these for about 3 months. they are awful in busy places. the bluetooth cuts off when there is lots of people using bluetooth. you can literally watch someone walk in front of you and the headphones cut out for a couple of seconds. when this happens over and over again it can be super annoying. getting the buds to sync up eachother is also a challenge. sometimes they want to double pair to your phone separately not together so one bud gets the sound. it has literally taken me half an hour to get them to link back together. several times!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Real Deal While out at my favorite electronics store I came across these. Because I have the following Sol Republic products:a pair of Ice White Tracks Air Wireless headphones,Shadow Wireless earphones anda pair of Electro Blue Master Tracks X3 headphones,I know what Sol Republic is capable of. So when I saw these, I purchased, without hesitation. I'd been curious about truly wireless bluetooth earbuds but I had not seen any that called out to me. They were all tooo much money or too bulky. I honestly was not aware these even existed. Let me assure you, these hit just as hard or harder than the Shadow's. Depending on the music and your state of mind, you can literally get lost in the music. The sound produced by the Air's is immersive, dynamic and has a definitive presence. These have been on for the last 2 days, at work, at home and on the go. I listen to all sorts of music and these handle everything. Bass hits hard, the mids are just right and the treble floats above it all, providing the perfect amount of imaging and depth. Talk about transparency and clarity!! I run these with my Iphone X with the EQ set to Latin.Regarding the fit, I use the largest tip and they seal out almost all external distractions. I like the fact the case can support so many recharges and even charge my X in a pinch. And they look slick and super futuristic, with the silicon sleeve and wave patterns. These are a major GO. Highly recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sound Great, Longer Play Time and Should Include Foam Instead of Rubber Ear Fittings. These wireless earbuds sound very good, especially when fitted with aftermarket foam ear fittings. The play time per change should be longer. I normally get about 3 hours before I have to put them back in the charging case for 30min. to 1 hour. The bluetooth connection is ok. Sometime it cuts out but is fairly stable (rarely drops). The next iteration should look at slimming the carrying case and including a compartment in the case for an extra pair of foam ear fittings.

What are the main differences between the Amps Air and the Amps Air 2.0

Asked by: Aaron Fernandez
The original Amps Air have a mono mode which will allow you to use one earbud and leave the other in the case. The Amps Air 2.0 had mono mode removed, as it could sometimes interfere with pairing earbuds in stereo. The two models are otherwise similar.
