Amps Air + is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Only Good For Calls Got them from JbHifi Australia, they didn't let me test it so I took a risk cause of some YouTube reviews and in the words of Sol Republic claiming to have "Premium Sound" and "Good Bass". Have to say it is one of the "Premium" earphones with flat sound and very low sound volume. Music is OK and ANC doesn't work at all, maybe cause its an earphone and not a headphone, I didn't feel it at all. The Only good thing is it fits well in your ears, better body built and Very clear microphone and calls. I would not recommend it if you want to use it for good music quality and I felt cheated for ANC.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sound, a few issues I absolutely love the sound quality and noice cancellation, but lately I’ve been having a few issues with pairing lately. Nothing too significant, but when I first started using them they would pair as soon as I would take them out of the case. But as of lately they aren’t pairing like they used to, the only thing I really have to do is go into my Bluetooth settings, it’s just a bit of an irritant.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ineffectual Tap controls I’ve been a long-time user of Amp Air products. My ongoing complaint has been few control abilities on the earpieces, but the performance has otherwise been superlative. I’ve also understood the lack of specific controls was related to the ease of interchangeable earpieces. The new Amps product does have specific right- and left-earpieces to allow for such controls, including skipping a song. The problem is, the tap-based controls are just poor. Three taps skips a song, but often only two taps are recognized and it pauses. If you aren’t meticulous in your tapping, it finally just locks up and you have to put it back in the charging unit for it to reset. Not cool when you’re biking or running. Avoid these until another version comes out. Or do like I did—go back to the previous Amps model. These are junk.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Step back Step back from their Amps Air 2.0. I had 1.0 too. Constantly disconnect. Sometimes ear damaging sharp noice! Hurt when you wear them longer ( unlike the old version). The charging box is wobbly on the table. I love the noice canceling though!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very comfortable with high quality sound. These are my third set of Sol Republic earbuds which I continue to use on daily basis because of their comfort. They pair quickly and I listen to recorded spoken word programs as well as classical music and expect good fidelity but in a convenient, small size. Walking around in New York City, the noise reduction feature is especially effective and the battery life on the Amps+ is good as well. The various tap commands take some getting used to, but offer a variety of listening and calling features. Highly recommended.

Thank you for your question. We are sorry to hear about the issue you are having with your earbuds, below are some reset and connecting instructions. Please attempt to reset the earbuds. 1. Turn the Bluetooth off on the device you are wanting to pair (also make sure all other Bluetooth is off in the area you are trying to pair). 2. Take the earbuds out of the case. 3. Press and hold the multi-function (SOL) button for 3 seconds on both earbuds to turn them off. 4. Quick press multi-function (SOL) button once one each earbud to turn them on, allow the earbuds 10-15 seconds to power on. 5. Quick press multi-function (SOL) button twice to put earbuds in pairing mode. 6. Give the earbuds 30-60 seconds to connect to each other. 7. Turn Bluetooth on; on the device you want to connect to. 8. Select the SOL earbuds in available devices.

Are they working in both ears? I had these and was only able to use one bud at a time

Asked by: Tony
Yes, they work as a pair with no problem so far after numerous months. You might putting them both back in the case briefly to reset and then put them both in your ears again. They should sync. Have you checked that the one is charging properly? If not, perhaps you have a defective bud

How do I wake up the earbuds without the charging case?

Asked by: Isaac55
I always take the case with me, but I’m guessing that a tap to each earbud is a wake up. I’m still learning the various commands in the first month of use.
