Shadow Wireless Earbuds is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 137.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Sound I got better sound from my $20 Amazon-purchased wireless earbuds. . I couldn't hear any bass notes in music. They are light-weight and nice looking, but not worth the $75 pricetag.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality! Left driver totally stopped working I got this from the USA in May, 2017. I've used it for a 6 months and I gradually noticed that the left side speaker stopped working. The first time the issue was minute but over time it was too obvious. And moreover, they do not have service centers in India to get this sorted. Would not recommend anyone to buy these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from very poor quality and poorly designed headphones I read so many good reviews before deciding to buy this earphone. But the frustration started right from the unboxing. While unboxing, the left earbud was wide open... then I had to press it hard to put it back on place but it has opened at least three times... so I don't know when will it do that again. Then I thought it might compensate with a great sound. The sound is pretty average, I wouldn't even compare it with skull candy jib wireless (which is the starting level wireless earphone from skull candy and sounded much better). The bass is very poor and treble is unpleasant. Then I thought, ok the design might be very good as I could put it in the pocket. When I tried to put it on in the gym, It would not just stay in it's place. Each time I shake my head it would fall off from the neck and the weight of it's body will pull it down. Wearing it sideways in the neck helps but I found it's not usable in the gym. Another problem is when it is paired with more than one devices, it just beeps annoyingly as if it is constantly trying to connect to the other device (even when that device is out of range) and it becomes impossible to listen to the song in the current device. very low sound quality, very poorly designed physical layout, and very poor software for connecting multiple devices.... it's a no no earphone.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loved it, until it stopped working I love my shadow wireless earbuds. It played my music beautifully, the sound was awesome. I could never pair it with more than one device - had to make it forget the first device before it would even show up on another, which was a hassle. About 2 weeks after my one year warranty ended, i noticed the left ear was not very loud. I thought i was going deaf in one ear. However it is becoming more and more noticeable now, and i checked by changing the ears - and trying it on different devices. The left ear bud is slowing not working. And now is almost completely gone. I suspect it is the interior wiring on the left side which is breaking. A real shame as I love these earphones. I can't justify spending this much on a headphone for only a year. Most of my cheaper earphones last 5-6 years, i only bought this to be wireless from my iphone given they no longer have a headphone jack - but that;s a different story. If i had written this review before the 1 year was up, i would have given it 5 stars and recommended it. The fact that it's breaking down on me a few weeks after the 1 year warranty is up, has skewed my perspective of it and i'm giving it way less.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love my new earbuds! I’ve tried almost every earbud out there, and haven’t found one that’s comfortable, accessible, and sounds great. Now I found one. Earbuds are a little loose, but it’s by no means a dealbreaker. And they match my mobile device.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Extremely stylish and sounds great but...... I have had these for about 2 months now and as the title states they look great and sound just as good but the problem is they won't stay in for long. I've changed the size of the eartips but even then that hasn't helped much. I don't work out in them, I just use them for in office use and even then I struggle to keep them from falling out. It's a shame because they would be perfect if they stayed in. Had they had the relay sport wireless fit, then these would be an easy 5 stars.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Quality I bought this product in Sep 2017 and on 3 instances it stopped working abruptly and would not turn on within few months of usage. I got it replaced twice in 1 Yr of service but again 3rd time it stopped working. Seems this product has really bad production quality

Rated 1 out of 5 by from KNOCK-OFFS??? No one can hear me on phone calls!! I’ve owned three pair of these headsets and i’ve never had a problem with them. I’ve always been able to use them when driving for making phone calls or listening to music. This last pair that I purchased on Amazon are horrible. No one can hear me when using them to make phone calls which is one of the best features. All the other pair that I bought came from Best Buy. I will not be buying these on Amazon again. I will be purchasing them at Best Buy. These must be CHINESE MADE KNOCK-OFFS or something. Do not buy them from Amazon.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dissapointed Purchased my first pair of SOL REPUBLIC wireless headphones two years ago and was very satisfied with them. Unfortunatley they where destroyed in a work accident. Looked forward to the new pair. Second pair of headphones where a disappointment. Everyone who called me complained of not being able to hear me when I spoke to them. Did not experience this with first pair of headphones.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Look good, great pair of headphones, BUT.. So I bought my first pair back on June 22nd, i bought the warranty, but since i was at the airport waiting for a flight to england I neglected to setup the warranty until my 8 Hour flight Landed in Heathrow. They charge super fast, which is Amazing, but ive only had them for 3 and a half months now and a few weeks ago the right ear bud suddenly lost it’s sound, which is not good especially when some songs have different effects going on each rar. This has happen to me before with so many different blue tooth earbuds, so it was a bummer but oh well, so i thought, lets wait till the other ear bud goes too before calling in and replacing them. The other earbud today went so I called in, knowing full well that i did set up the warranty as soon as i got to my hotel in England, and they said that I didnt set it up, and since I ‘hadn’t’ set up the warranty within one month of purchasing it that i couldnt get a replacement, when I did set it up, Idk if it was because of where i was at the time, due to the fact warranties dont work outta the usa or whatever but this needs to get fixed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great earphones but dual device setup needs work Summary: A great product almost undone by the very fiddly dual device feature. Positive features: excellent sound, good bass, the battery lasts longer than expected, the neck loop is very comfortable. Negative features: the downloadable manual is poor and the dual device feature will test even the most patient. The only way I could get the dual device feature to work was: 1. Pair the earphones with your phone 2. Turn on dual device (press vol (minus) and multifunction button together and release) 3. Turn off the bluetooth function on your phone so it is no longer transmitting 4. You will now hear "ready to pair" 5. Pair your second device/computer 6. Turn on bluetooth on your phone 7. Reconnect to Shadow device on your phone Points to note - step 4 won't happen until you turn off first connected bluetooth device. Step 7 the original device won't reconnect to the earphones until you tell it to. Note the above was using my equipment (iPhone XS and Lenovo ThinkPad) so others experience may vary.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great earbuds! I bought them for all purpose use and while working out. It’s so nice to have the wireless feature. I sometimes forget I have them around my neck. For being a wireless earbud, the sound quality is great also.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Where is the Bass? I just bought these and all I hear is top end and over accentuated midrange! Am I missing something here? I have to bass boost at 60hz + @12 db to sound decent!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great hardware, poor software The great: their primary job, making sound, is done very well. The sound quality is the best I’ve had from any other earphone. Better than the Powerbeats3 and the Samsung Level equivalent to these. The good: hardware execution. The batteries are placed in an area such that it maintaines balance and prevents the headphones from wanting to slip off one side to the other. Water resistance and high flexibility are also very good positives. The earbuds also do a good job at isolating. The bad: sometimes the physical buttons on the device can be a little difficult to operate, you must be quite firm when using them. The earbuds also extend enough out of your ear that it can be uncomfortable sleeping with them on if you’re a side-sleeper. They also do not stay around the neck if engaging in any type of exercise. The ugly: the entire software experience. To start, the power on, power off, volume adjustment, and low battery tones are all quite uncomfortably loud. It’s to the point where I just simply do not turn these on and off while they’re in my ear. Holding the volume buttons for quick volume adjustment is also futile as it’s just unreasonably slow going from one volume to the next. And finally, the absolute worst thing about these headphones, the “feature” that has me actively looking for a better alternative, is the frequency and volume of the low battery notification. Once your battery is low, every MINUTE on the minute a blaringly loud voice cuts through whatever you were listening to “BATTERY LOW; CHARGE NOW.” Wouldn’t it have been easier to just have a soft, brief tone notify you maybe thrice at the most? Because of the low battery notification these headphones are unusable at a lower battery percentage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long time user of Sol Republic headphones I got these earphones as a gift I put on my list, I have been a fan of Sol Republic headphones, but when I got the Calvin Harris headphones they went out after 3 months of use and yes, I was a bit disappointed, but Sol Republic was good enough to send me these and I have been using them none stop, they are comfortable, battery life is good, and easy to set up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Have had it for 2-3 years, still holding up. Was bought as a gift for me at the SFO airport for $100, and I have to say that these are some pretty durable earbuds. The only thing that wasn't durable was the rubber charging port cover, broke off after light use in the first 3 months. I just recently left it in my pants pocket and it went through the washer and dryer! Still works and charges perfectly fine after drying for a day. One of the speaker "covers" that filter the music came off and was lost, so I have to resort to stuffing a small piece of cotton to balance the volume or else I will destroy my hearing. Other than that, excellent sound quality and I can't believe after all this time it still lives up to its 8 hour battery life and charges flawlessly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great sound, horrible build quality. First pair I purchased broke after a few months. Ear piece broke came off the cord one day. Thought maybe I had been to rough on them, and bought a second pair. Ear piece stayed connected, but after only six months or so, they started to develop bubbles. Then more. And more. It was okay for a bit, but now I have this (see images): Can't afford to buy $100 headphones over and over again. Or recommend them either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing exercise companion & a good BT headphone with some cons These are very light, to the point that the only thing that reminds you of its presence, is the earpiece that's in your ear. This can be a pro or con, con if you'd have this around your neck and be roaming around, you'd lose it! Pro for all the others.Amazing built quality, water resistant; sweat won't do anything, a little drizzle or even lite-medium rain too won't bother it. Heavy rain might get to its mic but nothing else. Mic may or may not to coated with water resistant nano coating, so I won't take the risk of wearing this on very heavy rain. The left side has the BT antenna, if you hold it, like grabbing it fully, there are some momentary connection issues. But nothing major. The BT range is epic if you'd only use it with your phone in your pocket or within the same room. If you go to the next room, the connection starts to get sketchy, the second room it totally disconnects. I also own HD4.40 BT and I can roam around the whole house with it, PC or phone, no matter the source connection, BT connection is rock solid. With Shadow though, its range is just line of sight.Works well for walking, up-down exercises like weight lifting etc is fine, even cycling where you might go up & down when you hit a bumpy road. However, if you jog or make any back and forth movements like bench and stuff, this would fall off, I mean the band; you'd still have it connected to your ear and it'll hang from it just fine. Just use it for walking, while sitting or during cycling.Amazingly comfortable, you get three pairs of different sized ear tips; it reads lifetime free ear tips replacement, you can contact their customer support if you ever need one. Very light & comfortable, all wear this for hours straight.micro USB connection, has volume up-down and play-pause-FFW. The button placement is something that gets use to given time, to start off though, its a painAudio quality is amazing! Has nice stereo separation, some sound stage as well; which is astouding considering the size of it & this being BT. I don't think this version has BT contrary to some reviews I read online. Even without aptX the audio quality is superb!Battery life will be 5-7 days if you'd only use it for an hour or so daily while exercising; which is my use case. HD4.40BT for other use, this while walking.Overall, go for Relays Sport from the same SOL if you need something for hardcore exercising or dancing; this for everything else.

Q & A

How well does the Shadow wireless work with Apple devices, i e. iPhone, iPad, or JBL wireless speakers? What is the warranty, do you replace, or credit for purchase price under warranty.  How long can I expect this product to last?

Asked by: Trudy
Ours lasted about 15 months before the battery went out, but it was used almost daily. It worked fine with our iPhones, but I don’t know about iPad, speakers or the warranty portion of your question though - sorry.
