Amps Air 2.0 Wireless Earbuds is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good Sound, Poor Build Quality I bought these earbuds to wear while I work at my desk job. Ive had them for over a year now. The sound quality is great but the right earbud is falling appart. First the part that goes in your ear became disconnected and now the only thing holding the whole thing together is the rubber sleeve.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed Pros- decent audio quality, seem to stay in ears if not touched (will fall out from hats or hoodies touching) and decent battery life w/ case. Cons- missing multiple key features (volume, skip song, ect) various malfunctions, fall out easily when putting on/ removing clothes, not comfortable laying in bed, turn down audio on their own, just all around frustrating to use. Save your money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Sound Quality, but.... I have my grievances with them. I've had them for a couple months now. As much I want to say these are amazing, the downsides are starting to out weigh the benefits a little. Pros: Sound Quality is great and the battery pack is useful on occasion when I need to charge my phone, especially since the battery pack itself lasts relatively long. Cons: Bulky earbuds feel a bit uncomfortable and don't fit in my ears, so frequent dropping from my ears. Button press is very limited drom other wireless headphones I've encountered. No Mono connection, though I understand has its issues, is annoying, especially in my case where I always have only 1 bud in ear. This makes the Right earbud very near useless. Considering the price, I don't consider them worth it. I was excited when I first got them, and now I'm a little disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from They sound great! Plenty of bass yet balanced. Version 2.0 is much improved over their predecessor. Automatic pairing makes using these bad boys a breeze. I think Sol Republic should develop an app for EQ and more personalized settings. It would be nice if the pods came with foam tips rather than the cheap rubber ones. Lastly a longer battery life (4-5hrs.) would be much appreciated. Notwithstanding, these are great units and I enjoy mine daily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for working out and stylish I have these for a month now, at first the right earphone was making a crackling sound then I kept running the music for a few hours to break them in. A day later they worked fine! They sound amazing, great for working out and calls. I have the blue ones and people stare at them so it’s a good thing. Very asthetic. Going to purchase a black pair now for my girlfriend. I use them atleast 3-6 hours a day.

Q & A

Hi guys, with the Amps Air original or 1.0 I experience a second or two audio lag on videos noticeably. With the Amps Air 2.0, is this issue fixed? Also with the regular Amps Air, did I get a faulty pair or is it a common issue with the Amps Air?

Asked by: devintsuji
Unfortunately, none of our headphones are DLNA compatible, and we do not have a solution to the audio delay you are experiencing when watching videos.

Can I use one earbud to listen to music or do they both have to be in my ears.

Asked by: Freda
The left earbud can still be used individually, but won’t receive sounds which are balanced off-center to the right. The right earbud won’t work individually if the left earbud is left in the case. (Note that the earbuds will still have sound from only one ear during phone calls. Stereo play will resume once the call ends)

Are the amps air 2.0 buds independent like the 1.0's? I had a pair of 1.0 buds and could use 1 while charging the other.

Asked by: Will
The original Amps Air have a mono mode which will allow you to use one earbud and leave the other in the case. The Amps Air 2.0 had mono mode removed, as it could sometimes interfere with pairing earbuds in stereo.

How do you get amps mono or just one earbud to turn on

Asked by: Gavin
Mono functionality has been removed from the Amps Air 2.0 headphones, as it could interfere with the ability to pair the earbuds in stereo. The left earbud can still be used individually, but won’t receive sounds which are balanced off-center to the right. The right earbud won’t work individually if the left earbud is left in the case. (Note that the earbuds will still have sound from only one ear during phone calls. Stereo play will resume once the call ends)
