Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great set, mic is not as reliable. I would give it a five, if it wasn't because I can't take calls when using them. The person on the other end usually has a hard time hearing me when I speak through this mic. Otherwise, battery life is as specified, 8 hours on mild volume music. Have no problem with linking it. They often go from my laptop to my cellphone without a problem. Going into 4 years with them now, and still running great! Love them. First and best set I've had!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love it! I bought my earphones about nine months ago but have not used them often because they won’t turn off. I have to let the battery drain for it to turn off. Pressing the button does not work. Am I missing something? If the button worked I would raise the star status.

These have fantastic audio quality and decent bass, just a shame that with the warranty barely expired they started to fall part and the battery life has dropped to only 3-4 hours, the little round covers inside the earbuds have fallen out, the cover for the power button cover is long gone and with no cable strain relief where the wire attaches to the earbuds, the wire have frayed to the point of failure. Will I getting Sol Republic again - sadly no unless they pick up their quality.

Battery life is hanging in there at 4 hours of music on full blast! I play music LOUD and have always been disappointed buying ear bud headphones until these babies. Sound quality is awesome in my opinion. Listen to a lot of YouTube music through Android.

Great sound quality. Connects easily to my iPhone and iPad. I prefer to use them for phone calls so I can remain hands free.

They were used a total of 187 runs (yes, I keep track in my running app!) and have now failed their purpose. A product like this with a brand behind it like Solrepublic should last the consumer in times like this a lot longer than just past its warranty.

They sent me some other ones and yet again they broke lol. I have Shadows and once again the sound doesn't come out one side. I bought them from Best buy I paid 100 with tax ect. They are a pain to pair but the sound quality like always with solo was great. Every pair of headphones I own "beats" Bose I would say solo has the best sound. It's just they brake, I had no other headphones brake ever. I take care of my things. It's just for some reason every pair I owned of solo have stopped working on just one side. The controls are great on them the sound quality was phenomenal the fit was good they come with extra ear rubber things. But they just stop working. Battery life is good also. If they could just make them so they don't brake they would be one of the best companies for the price. I have earpods apples junk as in sound quality. I don't know if I to recommend them to anyone cuz it's like throwing money down the drain. I'm an audio bluff and I have a 13 pairs of headphones.. for the money solo would be great if they didn't just stop working...

It was awesome... until they stopped sync-ing with my Mac. I looked for software updates, I sent an email to customer service, no answer. I barely use them anymore, and that's a shame...

I am still using my older headphones, however they are damaged. I am to blame for the damage. I purchased another headset, in case I am unable to in the future. I love the feel and the fit. The texture of the material is supposed to be skin like. I dig 'em for sure. I believe they were designed by the creator of the BEATS sound. He removed some bass, and made them have a better sound quality. I just love these headphones. I wish I had a pair in every color. They are excellent for music and podcasts. SHADOW is where it's at!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great, surviives torrential rain. I was tired of wired getting stuck in turnstiles, so I bought these. It was 3 years ago and they worked great; I used them day in day out, charging them in between, so I guess I must have worn out my batteries. The company did me a favor and replaced them as a courtesy even though I was out of warranty. Now I continue to use them relentlessly, in any weather, and I'm really glad they can withstand even torrential rain, so I can keep running outside no matter what happens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product! The shadow was my first Bluetooth headphones and I will always buy sol republic! Sound quality is the best! Durability is superb. My current pair is 5 years old and only in the last year have they started to fall apart. Mainly around the stiff ends of the neck collar and last week the left cord tore and exposed the wires at the ear bud. That is mainly due to putting them through intense workouts. Currently looking to replace them either with another Shadow or the new Shadow Fusion. Thanks Sol Republic for making such an awesome product!

None appealed to me since I recently had reconstructive surgery on ears due to skin cancer . The Shadow fit perfectly and syncs to my phone instantaneously. They are great for my daily walks with the dog.

Looking many earphones, JBL, Sony, Samsung etc. JBL LIVE 200BT was the best choice until I listened Sol Republic Shadow. Wow! Great sound! Great constructed! Great to touch! Look great! I don't now if they will send in Kazakhstan spare ambushures if I lose my own, but even if not, I am very glad that I bought these headphones!

I've used it for a 6 months and I gradually noticed that the left side speaker stopped working. The first time the issue was minute but over time it was too obvious. And moreover, they do not have service centers in India to get this sorted. Would not recommend anyone to buy these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from very poor quality and poorly designed headphones I read so many good reviews before deciding to buy this earphone. But the frustration started right from the unboxing. While unboxing, the left earbud was wide open... then I had to press it hard to put it back on place but it has opened at least three times... so I don't know when will it do that again. Then I thought it might compensate with a great sound. The sound is pretty average, I wouldn't even compare it with skull candy jib wireless (which is the starting level wireless earphone from skull candy and sounded much better). The bass is very poor and treble is unpleasant. Then I thought, ok the design might be very good as I could put it in the pocket. When I tried to put it on in the gym, It would not just stay in it's place. Each time I shake my head it would fall off from the neck and the weight of it's body will pull it down. Wearing it sideways in the neck helps but I found it's not usable in the gym. Another problem is when it is paired with more than one devices, it just beeps annoyingly as if it is constantly trying to connect to the other device (even when that device is out of range) and it becomes impossible to listen to the song in the current device. very low sound quality, very poorly designed physical layout, and very poor software for connecting multiple devices.... it's a no no earphone.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loved it, until it stopped working I love my shadow wireless earbuds. It played my music beautifully, the sound was awesome. I could never pair it with more than one device - had to make it forget the first device before it would even show up on another, which was a hassle. About 2 weeks after my one year warranty ended, i noticed the left ear was not very loud. I thought i was going deaf in one ear. However it is becoming more and more noticeable now, and i checked by changing the ears - and trying it on different devices. The left ear bud is slowing not working. And now is almost completely gone. I suspect it is the interior wiring on the left side which is breaking. A real shame as I love these earphones. I can't justify spending this much on a headphone for only a year. Most of my cheaper earphones last 5-6 years, i only bought this to be wireless from my iphone given they no longer have a headphone jack - but that;s a different story. If i had written this review before the 1 year was up, i would have given it 5 stars and recommended it. The fact that it's breaking down on me a few weeks after the 1 year warranty is up, has skewed my perspective of it and i'm giving it way less.

I have had these for about 2 months now and as the title states they look great and sound just as good but the problem is they won't stay in for long. I've changed the size of the eartips but even then that hasn't helped much. I don't work out in them, I just use them for in office use and even then I struggle to keep them from falling out. It's a shame because they would be perfect if they stayed in. Had they had the relay sport wireless fit, then these would be an easy 5 stars.

I got it replaced twice in 1 Yr of service but again 3rd time it stopped working. Seems this product has really bad production quality

Some people tell me my voice is muffled on phone calls. How often does this happen?

People have difficulty hearing me with this mic. Sometimes I give up and use speaker phone. *I * hear callers better with the Shadow headset, but I need them to hear me, too! I have only had headset a couple of weeks. Perhaps I will discover a solution

There is a possibility to buy the rubber thing for the difference ear size? I've been using the headphones for a year. But I lost one of those things and the others doesn't fit me at all. So one of them is falling all the time. Thanks

I would say about 25min will get you close to 100% depending on how drained the headset is. I believe it will go from 0to100% in less than an hour. I have run out of juice, while finishing up the last 2hrs of work, plugged em into a portable charger or car charger for bout 15 20min, and it will allow me to have enough juice til the end. The battery will last over a 7to9 hr shift at work, if I am frequently listening to things. If, you are constantly playing audio, it will likely last about 6hrs.
